a word from our pastor
My name is Randy Beals and I am the pastor of New Haven Baptist Church. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior October 15th 1977 at a Vacation Bible School follow-up program in Trilla, Ill. I have a beautiful wife named Laurie and 2 sons, Jacob and Jackson. I surrendered to Preach in September 1990 at the age of 19 and then surrendered to the Pastorate in December 1992. I believe that the Bible is inerrant and infallible in its original autographs. New Haven Baptist Church invites you to every service and hopes that you will find a place to belong and serve.
Church Treasurer and Secretary:
Greg and Charlotte Hall serve New Haven as our Church Treasurer and Church Secretary. They are faithful servants to Jesus in these areas as well as many others.
From Our women's study
Our women's ministry is Christ-centered. It's about encouraging women to understand the gospel and apply it to their daily walk, and that growth happens when women engage with God through his Word and prayer. Women need Godly fellowship with other women. Even for the introvert, the Christian walk of sanctification is meant to be done as a community. Smaller, private settings within our women’s ministry offers a safe place for women to be mentored, bounce ideas and tips, and grow in their spiritual disciplines alongside other women. We would love for you to be a part of this special group! We meet Wednesday nights at 7 PM, we hope to see you there!
Men's Ministry of New Haven
The Men's Ministry of New Haven is a powerful time of investing with other men. Proverbs 27:17 teaches us that what one person has learned, endured or is currently going through is relevant in the lives of other men. It is our honor to mentor others and share what The Holy Spirit has taught us. Please consider being a part of this ministry. Consider for a moment, why the LORD has allowed you to struggle? It is not just for suffering sake, it is so that you will know Him and His power and share Him with others. Proverbs 3:5, 6 command us to trust in the LORD and do NOT lean to our own understanding. Will you take the times in your life that you were called to trust in His Holy Name and the lessons that you have learned and pour them into others? We meet Wednesday evenings at 4045 Graball Dr. Milan, TN.
Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry and College and Career
These ministries are lead by members of New Haven that have a passion to make Christ known. It has been said that our ministry to the next generation is the necessity of the Church. While ministry cannot be limited to one people group, we must answer the question of, 'what happens if the next generation is not reached?' Jesus has commanded us to teach in His Holy Name all of the things that He taught us (Matt 28:18-20). These ministries are carried out through small groups, (both Wednesday evening and Sunday morning), activities, special events, camps, young people events, concerts, plays, games, camp-fires, fellowships and time spent with one another. Please consider being a part in these ministries. Our workers have passed back-ground checks and promote a safe and powerful learning environment. Children's Ministry is considered to be "8th Grade and below." Youth Ministry is considered to be High School age. College and Career is generically considered to be High-School Graduate to 25 (ish).
